Recent News 2008 - In December 2007, NHFW was the recipient of a McDonald's grant. One of the women who went through the NHFW program a few years back currently is a manager for McDonald's. She entered a contest which the contestants were to write an essay about their favorite charitable organization. She wrote about NHFW and won. So Ronald McDonald came to NHFW to present us a check. We had a Christmas party for children and their parents where we gave away presents which were provided by Riverside Community Church. Ronald McDonald got on his unicycle and juggled to entertain our guests. We all had a great time of fun.
